Helping Athletes Strengthen Their Mental Game
I’ve spent most of my life around sports, both as an athlete and coach, and those experiences are what ultimately led me to sport psychology and mental performance.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication from Boston College, where I spent four years working with the women’s basketball program as a Senior Team Manager and Student Assistant Coach. I went on to earn my Master of Education in Sport and Exercise Psychology from Springfield College.
My experience includes working directly with Boston College Division I student-athletes through sport psychology and performance counseling, as well as coaching softball. Today, I continue to coach, giving me the opportunity to work with athletes and see firsthand the mental challenges that come with competition and development.
Through Own The Moment, I use evidence-based mental performance strategies to help athletes build confidence, improve focus, manage pressure, develop routines, set effective goals, and respond to setbacks. I believe mental skills should be practical and individualized, giving athletes strategies they can actually use in practice, competition, and everyday life.
My goal is to help athletes better understand their mental game, trust their preparation, and feel ready when the moment comes.
Trust yourself. Trust your preparation. Own the moment.
